2009年、おおたき北海ライブ陶器展（NHK放送賞）

普段寡黙な市野様ですが、作品を語るときの眼差しは薪窯の炎のように熱く、本作にもその情熱が焼き付いています。灰が流れ落ちた白は“余白”、深紅は“内に秘めた情念”、煤黒は“窯中の静寂”を象徴し、見る者に「炎の時間」を想像させる―—まさに心と炎との対話が形となった一碗です。

やや低めの高台は安定感がありつつも、全体のシルエットを軽やかに見せます。
